Visual Build Kinook Review

We use Visual Build as a wrapper around all of our software builds. We have different development teams using .Net, PowerBuilder and Java.

We just wrap Visual Build around their native project files, or in Java's case, their Ant files.

It is a quick tool to learn.

After a couple of hours, we even have newbies up and working.

Some need more coaching than others...;-)

We support a dozen or so different development groups. All working in different technologies.

So a tool like Visual Build works great because of it's flexibility.

I think we started with it because it was a nice Windows based build tool, but after time, we have used it to even script our scm tool administration tasks.

We have found it to be a reliable, stable and productive tool for us.
