3 Parts

  • The Core Build
  • Reporting
  • Dashboard

The Core Build

The Core Build - is designed to run as a daemon process which will periodically check your source control tool for changes to your codebase, build if necessary, and send out a notification regarding the status of the build

Reporting

This is the build status pages along with build and error logs and Bill of Materials, BOMS

Dashboard

This is the CC gui interface

What is Continuous Integration

Continuous Integration is all about reducing development time.

You can do this by building and testing more often to find compile-time and run-time bugs in shorter intervals.

Continuous Integration is a literally running a build at every developer checkin.
